Creative Brief

The objective of the projects exhibited here was to create two parallel typographic pieces using the same written content. Students were tasked with selecting one of the provided texts and exploring two contrasting typographic approaches, resulting in two distinct design formats.

To be Read

The first format is a 16-page printed matter with clear and attractive content layouts that prioritize readability and legibility for a visually enjoyable reading experience.

To be Experienced

The second format complements the first, offering a creative & engaging textual experience. It can take various forms, such as experimental publications, digital media, installations, and more.

The Books

Each exhibited work was a typographic response to one of the following literary gems:

  1. “The Stranger” by Albert Camus,
  2. “If on a Winter's Night a Traveler” by Italo Calvino,
  3. “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by Robert Louis Stevenson,
  4. “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras, and
  5. “Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams.
